Clothes that last longer

Have you calculated the average life expectancy of your clothes?

A carefully crafted garment immediately has a longer lifespan. And when it starts to wear out, it asks you, because it knows you love it, to patch it, mend it, mend it, mend it... whichever word you prefer!

Our workshops are audited and certified

91% of our production is carried out by workshops located in Europe and the Mediterranean basin. Our products are all manufactured by audited and certified workshops: BSCI, SMETA and GOTS, OEKO-TEX, ISC and SA 8000.

Our denim is produced in Tunisia, in a workshop using Eco Wash technology.

Our t-shirts, sweatshirts, socks and shoes are made in our workshop near Porto, Portugal.

Our shirts are made in our two certified workshops in Tunisia and Morocco.

Our jackets and suits are made in Romania.

Our coats are made in Ukraine or Poland.

Our leather pieces are made in India, a country with expertise in the processing of this material.

Our knitwear is made where the wool comes from, in our workshop in the Zhejiang region of China, where our expertise is renowned.
Stigmatizing China is a misunderstanding of where many of the raw materials we all wear come from. Controlling your workshop and demanding transparent traceability is the rule. Made in Europe also imports its wool and cotton from China; hiding that from you wouldn't be right. Cotton fields are only just beginning to be created in Europe, but the climate is unfortunately not very conducive to its cultivation.
If we chose this workshop in China, it is because they perpetuate the artisanal culture which has made the reputation of their region and their know-how.

Traceability

Aware of our impact on the environment, we are committed to providing access to information and transparency for each of our garments: this allows us, for each Standard, to trace their entire journey, from each raw material to the means of transport of the pieces to our stores.

A Traceability tab is available on each product sheet, and a QR code will be implemented on all our labels from the Autumn-Winter 23/24 season.

Repair & Care: Repair, reuse, recycle

Maison Standards is committed to extending the life of your clothing. We regularly hold workshops in our stores to repair your garments free of charge and teach you the best sewing techniques.

My Jeans Have Value: Your jeans have lived, they will live again

Since 2020, we have been organizing jeans collections in partnership with Le Relais, where we offer you the opportunity to sort through your closets and give your jeans a second life.

Together, let's put an end to textile waste being burned in incinerators or buried in distant landfills, which generates significant pollution.

Thanks to you, 7,135 pairs of jeans were collected in 2022, representing 107 tons of CO2 that will not be released into the atmosphere. These donations help fund charitable initiatives or help people in precarious situations return to work.

Let’s have a social, supportive and ecological impact together.
